The famous American singer and songwriter Arlo Guthrie, who has had a long career in the music industry and has spoken out against social injustice, is back in action again this week as he hosted a brand new concert. Many long-term fans of the singer will fondly recall Woodstock, a legendary music festival. In the 50th anniversary of Woodstock, Guthrie entertained many of his old fans by taking the stage with his guitar.
Guthrie was originally set to performing in the evening on top of the famous Woodstock hill, but also stated that he would like to play at least one song where the original Woodstock concert back in 1969 was played. He sang a short Bob Dylan song for reporters who had gathered.
In the original Woodstock concert, it was estimated that approximately 400,000 people attended. For this 50th anniversary, however, tickets and travel passes are required.
